You Be The Judge!

The unfortunate death of four ATF Agents has always been controversial.  The question of were they murdered lies heavily upon two important questions - who shot first and why

By putting together a few facts, you can determine who shot first on February 28, 1993.

Facts:
  1. One full grown female dog and four puppy dogs were contained in front of the Branch Davidian church.
  2. ATF Agent Petrilli testified "There was a dog there that was attempting to jump over the fence and I had seen there were other agents moving up in that direction, so I fired at the dog...."  According to the trial transcripts, other agents also fired at the dogs.  Click Here
    • An officer is trained to "stop an imminent threat."
    • According to the ATF,  Davidians were already shooting at agents.  The Davidians would obviously be the imminent threat.
    • A dog attempting to jump a fence would not be considered an imminent threat if they were already receiving gunfire.
    • When officers are involved in a shooting, they go into a crisis mode, and they get tunnel vision.  The entire focus is on the imment threat.  Were the dogs the imminent threat?  Maybe the dogs were shooting!
    • In fact, history has proven that when two or more officers are involved in a shooting, other officers commonly don't know if it's their partner or the suspect shooting.  This triggers a response and other officers on-scene begin shooting at the suspect.
  3. Koresh walked to the front door unarmed and said, "Let's talk.  There are women and children living here."
    • David Koresh and Perry Jones (also unarmed) were immediately shot by ATF.  Jones was killed.
  4. Wayne Martin called 911 from inside the complex and said, "There are about 75 men around our building shooting at us in Mount Carmel."  Mr. Martin was a lawyer who graduated from Harvard.  Click Here
  5. There were four ATF video cameras set up prior to the raid to record all actions that took place.  All tapes from all cameras have vanished.      Click Here
    • Remember, there is nothing police like more than evidence capitured on camera because it is the best kind of evidence.  If the Davidians shot first, the four video tapes would have been on a first class flight to Washington.
    • There is a reason the tapes vanished.  There is no doubt the reason is to coverup certain conduct of the ATF.
  6. One of the front doors vanished.
    • This door was full of bullet holes.
    • This door would have been of evidentiary value.
  7. Witnesses say ATF fired first from ground and helicopter.
    • Catherine Mattison
    • Clive Doyle
    • ATF Agent, Ken Latimer said, "At first I thought it was the dogs being shot."  Canine
    • Thomas, "I could see the gun from the helicopter, and then he fired."  Testimony
    • And many more
